Querbes Tennis Center was built in 1965 and named after the late Mayor of Shreveport, Andrew Querbes. Through the years,  Querbes Tennis Center has hosted and co-hosted numerous local tournaments such as the City Championships and USTA Junior and Adult Tournaments. The public facility offers 6 Rubico clay, 5 Hard, and 2 Junior courts.

Querbes underwent a $1.4 million dollar renovation with the collaborative efforts from the Northwest LA Community Tennis Association, SPAR, City of Shreveport, USTA, and private donations.  Querbes reopened its doors in 2020 with a continued vision to be the place for anyone to play tennis and feel at home. The facility continues to host local events and be an active member in the local tennis community with junior programs/tournaments, adult clinics, mixers, and tournaments. Next time you are in the area, come say hello!
